Before you fly
- Internet from the moment you land. Install an eSIM before the flight (Airalo, or Telkomsel's own eSIM). A physical SIM is sold at the arrivals hall too, usually 150,000–250,000 IDR.
- Install Grab and Gojek. Both work from the airport to Ubud. Set them up and add a card at home — registration needs an SMS, which is easier before you travel. Cash is also accepted.
- Save our address and pin. Jl. Pura Gunung Sari Gang 1 No. 4, Banjar Ambengan, Peliatan, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali 80571. Team WhatsApp: +62 813-2580-5152.
- Visa on arrival. Most passports get a Visa on Arrival (30 days, extendable). Pay online in advance (e-VoA) to skip the queue.
At Denpasar airport (DPS)
- Grab / Gojek. After customs, follow the signs to the ride-hailing pick-up point (ask staff for “Grab / online taxi pick-up”). Order the car to “Circus Castle Bali, Peliatan” or paste our pin. Expect roughly 300,000–450,000 IDR to Ubud, more at night, and about 1.5 hours on the road.
- Official airport taxi. The fixed-price taxi counter is inside the arrivals hall — a bit dearer than Grab, no app needed. Say “Ubud, Peliatan” and show the address.
- If the driver can't find us. The pin is exact. If the driver is unsure, message or call us on WhatsApp +62 813-2580-5152 and we'll guide him in Indonesian.
- Check-in. Camp weeks start on Sunday. Check-in from 2:00 PM, check-out by 12:00 noon. Arriving earlier? Message us — we'll keep your bag safe.

Food delivery: Most guests simply order in: GoFood (Gojek) and GrabFood deliver to the castle gate — vegan, Italian, Indonesian, whatever you feel like, usually within 30–40 minutes. Set the drop-off to our pin and write “Circus Castle” in the note.
Scooter rental, laundry pick-up and a pharmacy are all within a few minutes — ask at reception and we'll point you to the ones we use.
